The first thing that comes to my mind when thinking of New York City is Broadway. To me Broadway is almost as magical as Disney itself. It's full bright lights, smiling faces and of course hopes in dreams. Here in NYC you feel like anything is possible!
Did you ever dream of having amazing seats to your favorite Disney broadway play's? Sitting front row to enjoy the show without breaking the bank? Well I can help you make that dream a reality!
There are a few ways to make this happen. With some luck and perseverance it is totally possible.
Frozen is one of Disney's hottest plays on broadway right now and would you believe me if I told you you can snag the front row seat for $30? Well you can and heres how!
Scoring tickets to Frozen
Heres What You Have To Do:
First you'll want to log on to the website Lucky Seat.
Frozen conducts their lottery different from the other Disney broadway plays. So if you have entered other Broadway lotteries before this is a different process. On their website you can sign up for any of the weeks upcoming shows all with the check of a box. It will look like this!
You can check off the shows that you'd want to go to for that week. This is ideal for tourist traveling because you can sign up the week prior to the show you'd like to go to.
After your on the site just follow the directions. They ask for your name, email phone number etc. Then you submit and your all entered. You pick the amount of tickets you'd like, you can win up to two free seats. It is important to note that you MUST have a valid photo ID to claim the tickets. So you cant make up names and enter a million times.
Another tip I'd like to add is there an option to be notified through text if you win. I always opt for the text notification because it comes in before the email notification normally. Also most people don't check their emails that often. This will make it faster for you to log in and snag those amazing seats (which you'll read about in a second) !
If you are lucky enough to win some tickets you are given a chance to pick your seat and buy it for only $30!
Winning and Claiming
You will get and email or a text the day before the show saying if you've won or not. SO THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! Once you get that email or text you click the link and log onto Ticketmaster immediately! The reason for this is you and all the lottery winners will get your emails at the same time. Now if there happens to be a front row seat available it can be yours for only $30! So now its a race against the other winners for that best seat. But even if you don't log on right away you are still guaranteed a seat and to be quite honest there is no bad seat at the St. James Theater. Im just telling you because the first time I won tickets through lucky seat I wish I had known this because I missed out on 3rd row seats by seconds! The code they give you in the email is what makes the tickets $30 so you wont have to worry about that. (They will ask you as soon as you log on for that code) So after you pick your seats and pay and your all set! You do have until 10:00p.m that day to claim your seats or you loose your seats.
Last night I was able to snag two fifth row seats through Lucky Seat! This is the second time I was able to win through them and it just keeps getting better and better! Sitting this close was amazing! I felt like I could really connect with the characters and witness all those fun details that Disney throws into their work.
The Day of the Show
They ask that you go to the box office at the St. James Theater and Hour before doors open to pick up your tickets at will call. There is where you will present your Photo ID to verify your the one who won the tickets.
After that go in and enjoy the show! You just scored a $30 seat that people pay hudereds for!
Frozen does there shows everyday except on Monday. All weekday Shows are at 8 p.m except on Sundays they perform at 3:00 p.m. They also offer an early show on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m .
Now I've seen it twice and I know I will want to go another million times. It really moved its way to my top favorite Disney plays... and Frozen wasn't a movie I was very fond of to say the least!
If Frozen is on your must do list and you don't want to leave it to chance you can purchase box office tickets online , at the St. James Theater or of course the Tkts booth in Times Square.
