Can you believe its only 90 days until Mickey's birthday?!?
Mickey Mouse has been such a big inspiration world wide to millions of people its only right that we kick of his 90th birthday with a few special celebrations!
One celebration that I am most excited for is the True Original Mickey Pop Up event in NYC. This Pop Up is going to be an interactive art exhibit that will honor the big cheese himself.
The True Original Exhibition’ is an immersive pop-up art exhibition inspired by Mickey’s status as a ‘true original’. The exhibit is planned to take you way back into the black and white Steam Boat Willie days all the way into todays world. All of these Mickey moments will be re imagined by a few very talented artist. The some artist include Darren Romanelli, Amanda Ross-Ho, Kenny Scharf and Shinique Smith. They will continue to announce artist as it gets close to the opening date!
The opening date for the exhibit is November 8th 2018. Tickets will be $38. You can ONLY buy tickets ahead of time online, no tickets will be sold at the door. If you have been reading my other blogs on some of the pop up NYC events I have gone to this exhibit will run the same way as far as I can tell. You purchase your time slot online and you are allowed to roam the exhibit during that time frame.
