Want to experience your favorite Disney park in a whole new light?! The magic comes alive After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando Florida. During Disney After Hours you can experience the park like never before. Disney After Hours is a special ticketed event that offers some incredible experiences. What is Disney After Hours?
Disney After Hours is a hard ticketed event that invites only a limited number of guests to come and explore the Walt Disney World theme parks after the sun goes down! The ticket price for these events is $125 plus tax for adults, If you are an annual passholder or part of the Disney Vacation Club family the price is only $95. After hours is offered at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. You will get to explore the park for 3 hours after it has been closed.
Disney After Hours at Hollywood Studios
This weekend I was invited to attend Disney After Hours at Hollywood Studios and I had the ABSOLUTE best time! It was so nice to experience Hollywood Studios (my favorite park) in a new light! For the Hollywood Studios After Hours event we were allowed to enter into the park as early as 7:00 pm and the event began at 8:30. I took advantage of the early access into the park and went inside to grab some dinner at Fairfax Fare on Sunset Boulevard and then walked right across the way to watch Fantasmic! By the time Fantasmic has ended the event was only five minutes till the event started and I was ready to go!
Attractions
As I watched everyone leave Hollywood Studios, It felt more and more like I had the whole park at my fingertips. The park cleared out and the night was started! During this event select rides and characters are open for everyone to experience. Throughout the course of the entire night every ride and character meet and greet only had a five minute wait!!!! Yes, you read that correctly only five minutes! I was loving the fact that each time I got off Slinky Dog Dash I hoped right back on line and would almost immediately be seated! For some rides like Alien Swirling Saucers, I didn't even have to get up out of my car, I got to stay three times in a row! During this special event I promise you will be ale to ride your favorite studios attractions over and over.

During the event you are also entitled to drinks and snacks that you can pick up at select locations throughout the park. Ice cream, pop corn, soda’s and waters are there for your choosing. I enjoyed a Mickey Premium bar and some popcorn... You can say I was living my best life! In addition, you can also purchase menu items at select locations throughout the park. Woody's Lunchbox, Anaheim Produce and KRNR The Rock Station had select menu items available. A few outdoor bars were open as well.
Photo Op’s and Character Interactions:
During the event there are also characters out and about for you to meet and interact with! This is always my favorite part of any Disney Vacation so I love that they are keeping the magic alive with our favorite pals after hours as well! Disney Photopass photographers were also their to capture any of those special moments! You also can spend a little extra time with the characters really getting those ones of a kind interactions that everyone hopes for. I personally had the best time with Minnie and Mickey they had me smiling from ear to ear!

Disney After Hours is a social media influencers or photographers dream! Since there are only limited tickets available for purchase the parks look nearly empty. You can take advantage of the photo opportunities for empty park pictures and have fun exploring.. you can’t go wrong!
My Final Thoughts on the Event
I truly do believe that After Hours is worth the money. After going to this event I don’t want to experience the Disney parks in any other way. Honestly, they had me at free snacks but the empty streets and five minutes waits are amazing bonuses!
I like the idea that families can spend a day at the relaxing at the hotel or shopping in Disney Springs and then head to the park for a stress free night of fun! It is definitely something you should think about when planning your next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort!
