This summer Disney parks is brining a devilish party to Magic Kingdom. Disney Villains After Hours is a special ticketed event that will have you running a muck around Magic Kingdom after the park has closed to the public. If you want to learn all that Villains After Hours has to offer then your in the right place! Here is a complete overview everything this wicked party has to offer.
The Event Dates, Times & Cost
Disney Villains After Hours takes place in Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort. On select nights throughout the summer you can party with the Villains and run a muck in throughout the kingdom! This is a special ticketed event, so this is not included in a regular ticketed park admission. When you purchase the event ticket you can enter the park at 7PM and the event runs till 1AM. This is awesome because you can still experience the fireworks show and other attractions before the event begins!

The cost for the event if you buy your tickets ahead of time is $139.00. If you buy your tickets the night of the event (I don't recommend doing this because they only sell a limited number) is $144.00. DVC and AP's get a discounted ticket price for $109.00!
The Attractions
You have three hours of access to 20 of Magic Kingdoms most beloved attractions. Since Villains After Hours is a special ticketed event, only a small number of tickets are sold. This guarantees little to no wait times for all of the rides in the kingdom!
I highly recommend checking out Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain which have some villain inspired surprises!
On Pirates of the Caribbean you will come in contact with some of the most diabolical pirates, warning you of whats to come. You can see these pirates wandering the ride in search of treasures. You may even see Captain Barbosa himself!
If you go on Space Mountain be ready to scream. You will be transported into the black abyss, not knowing what each turn will bring. The ride will be accompanied with dark devilish music that will be sure to make you scream. Now Ive done space mountain a ton of times, but this I would highly recommend if your seeking thrills!
The Food
During Villains After Hours each guest is entitled to unlimited bottled beverages, popcorn and Mickey premium bars. Yes I said unlimited! Grab as many as you'd like at various outdoor stands throughout the night.
There are also specialty treats and drinks available at select locations throughout the park! Some treats are newly designed while others are happy to be back!

The Merch
Disney created some really fun shirts that are exclusive to the event. You will find different tees and a tank top along with a hat, tumbler and phone case. Each item says Disney's Villains After Hours 2019 so you can commemorate the night!
I picked up the pocket tee! It was my favorite design that wasn't too in your face. It also had all of the villains on the back rather than just the event logo. Disney was kind enough to gift us the tumbler and hat from the merch as well!

Maleficent At Night
You know her and lover her from the Festival of Fantasy Parade and now you can see her thrive during an event that was made for this queen! Check out Maleficent roam Magic Kingdom Breathing fire or all to see. Maleficent does three rounds beginning at 10:40 PM. You can see her enter in Frontierland and end her reign over on Main Street U.S.A. You can also catch her at 11:45PM and 1:20AM.
The Show
Villains Unite the Night is the brand new stage show designed for this event and it was spectacular! The show is 20 minutes long and takes place on Cinderella's Castle Stage. See some of your favorite villains like Jafar, Maleficent, The Queen, Dr. Facilier, Meg and the Man himself Hades Lord of the Dead. The show is put on three times during the event, here are the showtimes:11:00PM, 12:00AM and 1:00AM.
Watch as the Villains wait for the planets to align to unleash their full potential and take over the kingdom! During the 20 minute show you will witness incredible choreography, pyrotechnics and more.
I will say if your purchasing a ticket to Villains After Hours then this show should be on your to do list. If your looking to do rides and for the majority of the night and just enjoy Magic Kingdom while it is empty then you should buy a regular After Hours ticket!
Photo Ops
Photopass will be put and about capturing all of your memories for the night! Make sure to look for the event exclusive photo opportunities and Magic shots during the event.
Unfortunately the villains do not meet during these events. You can only catch them on the stage or above the train station at the ned of the night to say goodbye.
My Overview
I had a blast at this event and I was so excited to be a part of the media team to get an inside look at all the effort put into making this event so villainous!
I would highly recommend this event for families visiting the Walt Disney World Company. I would say spend the hot Florida day by the resort pool and then coming to Magic Kingdom when it cools down to run a muck with your friends!
With the wait times being so low you will get to experience your favorite rides in those three short hours guaranteed and don't forget you can enter as early as seven so depending on the crowds at the park that day you can also get some experiences done then!
For the rides I would do pirates! Since the pirates are interacting with you you'll have a different experience every time! My favorite treat was Hades Temptation and the Dragons Breath Float!
If you have been to and loved Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party then this event is for you. The ambiance of Magic Kingdom gives you that Halloween Party feel and I was totally digging it!
